Dear Mothers to Daughters Community,
Welcome to the latest newsletter of Mothers to Daughters.
My name is Lan Nguyen, the Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist at Mothers to Daughters. This season is especially meaningful as we celebrate 6 years of Mothers to Daughters, six years of empowering women, building community, and creating lasting impact across generations.
We are excited to spotlight a powerful lineup of experiences from Smart, Amazing Conversations with Dr. Nancy featuring inspiring voices like Francine Mbvoumbou, to Money Conversations: Mentorship & the Future of Wealth, where we explore financial literacy and generational impact.
We are also proud to highlight the signature events including the Mafo Dress Dinner in celebration of Women’s History Month, the upcoming visibility workshop “You’re Not Stuck – You’re Invisible”, and our highly anticipated 2026 Fundraiser Gala & Trailblazer Awards: The Ball of Wisdom, an evening dedicated to elegance, empowerment, and legacy.

This month marks six years of Mothers to Daughters. Six years of building, believing, and becoming. It feels especially meaningful that this milestone falls within Women’s History Month. A time that reminds us that what we are shaping today is part of a much larger story, one that honors the women who came before us and invests in those who will come after. To our team, past and present, thank you. Your commitment, your care, and your belief in this vision have made M2D what it is today. Nothing we have built exists without you. To our community, partners, and supporters, both current and future, thank you for walking alongside us. For trusting the work, for showing up, and for choosing to be part of something that is rooted in purpose and legacy. Over the past six years, we have created spaces where women connect across generations, where ideas turn into action, and where ambition is nurtured with intention. From intimate mentorship moments to global stages, we have seen what happens when women are supported not just to rise, but to lead and to build. And we are only getting started. The next chapter calls for greater scale, deeper impact, and bolder partnerships. As we look ahead, we remain committed to expanding access, strengthening ecosystems, and advancing our mission to support the launch and growth of 100,000 women-led businesses by 2035. Six years in, the vision is clearer, the foundation is stronger, and the responsibility is even greater. We move forward with gratitude, with conviction, and with the understanding that legacy is something we build together.

Program Completion + Relaunch
We recently closed a powerful chapter as we wrapped our six-month mentorship program. To every woman who showed up with intention, vulnerability, and ambition, thank you. You did not just participate. You expanded what is possible. The growth, the conversations, and the bonds formed over these past months are a testament to what happens when women are placed in the right rooms with the right support. We are deeply proud of each of you and honored to be part of your journey. As one chapter closes, another begins. We are officially relaunching our six-month program on May 15, 2026, with an even stronger vision, expanded resources, and deeper alignment with the needs of our community. We are opening additional spots ahead of the relaunch to welcome more women ready to build with intention, scale with strategy, and step into legacy-driven leadership. Whether you are continuing your journey or joining us for the first time, this is your invitation.

Money Conversations: Mentorship & the Future of Wealth
Some of the most powerful wealth lessons aren’t taught in classrooms. They happen in conversations.
Join us as we explore how mentorship, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship become the foundation of generational legacy. At Date with Daughters, our curated gathering of emerging entrepreneurs, we intentionally break that silence. This edition invites us into an honest, structured conversation about money, ownership, and building enterprises that outlive us. With special guest Constance Victory, we will explore how financial literacy becomes confidence, how entrepreneurship becomes leverage, and how intentional wealth-building becomes legacy. Because legacy is not simply something we leave behind. It is something we build, together, across generations.
Constance Victory is a New York City–based design entrepreneur and real estate professional. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and NYU/UCL, she has built a career at the intersection of design, entrepreneurship, and client strategy. Her accessories collections have been distributed by brands and institutions including Free People and the Brooklyn Museum, and she has been recognized by India’s Ministry of Commerce & Industry for excellence in leatherwork and design. Constance regularly hosts conversations on entrepreneurship, leadership, and financial literacy.

You’re Not Stuck - You’re Invisible: Turn Your Experience Into Opportunity
Right now, there are people with less experience, less depth, and less capability who are getting the opportunities you want simply because they are more visible.
Recruiters, hiring managers, collaborators, and clients now begin with a simple step: they search your name online. When little appears beyond a LinkedIn profile, even highly qualified professionals can struggle to stand out.
In this live session, Heather Dolland Tamam — founder of Doltam Creative Solutions and author of Create Your Own Table: A Guide to Discovering Your Purpose — will share how professionals can transform their expertise into a visible professional presence that opens doors to new opportunities.

Smart, Amazing Conversations with Dr. Nancy |
As a Global Strategist and Founder of Mothers to Daughters, Francine knows firsthand what it takes to navigate spaces where you aren't always welcomed or celebrated immediately. In this episode of "Smart, Amazing Conversations with Dr. Nancy," Francine opens up about her personal journey from witnessing the challenges her own mother faced to building a career across continents. She reminds us that while we may face dark days, there is always that one day that brings the light if we persevere.
"Resilience is everything. Don't give up. You're going to find the people that are going to look at you and invest in you." - Francine Mbvoumbo

Tinu Talks About Us
Tinu highlights the Mothers to Daughters (M2D) experience as a powerful, purpose-driven moment where fashion, philanthropy, and family intersect. Sharing her personal journey of walking in the inaugural runway show alongside her daughter, she captures the essence of what M2D represents connection, legacy, and impact in real time.
At the heart of her story is the magic of stepping into the spotlight not just as individuals, but as a mother-daughter duo embodying strength, pride, and shared purpose. The experience reflects how M2D creates space for women to show up fully, celebrate one another, and build something meaningful across generations.
More than a fashion show, Tinu presents M2D as a charitable and cultural movement one that brings women together to uplift, mentor, and inspire through visibility, storytelling, and community-driven impact.
This is where legacy becomes lived experience n the runway and beyond.

Fractyll Talks About Us: Mothers to Daughters (M2D) Legacy Walk
Fractyll shines a spotlight on the Mothers to Daughters (M2D) Legacy Walk: a powerful, can’t-miss moment at New York Fashion Week that brings our mission to life. More than a runway show, this experience celebrates the unbreakable bonds between women across generations, honoring those who guide us, grow us, and walk beside us.
The Legacy Walk is where fashion meets purpose. It’s a bold expression of legacy, mentorship, and sisterhood, featuring women who represent both “mothers” and “daughters” in every sense of the word. Each step down the runway tells a story of strength, connection, and transformation.
Through this moment, M2D continues to build a movement rooted in community, empowerment, and generational impact creating space for women to be seen, celebrated, and supported.
This is more than a walk. It’s our legacy in motion.

Call to Donations
At Mothers to Daughters, we are building more than a community. We are building an ecosystem where women are equipped to lead, create, and sustain generational impact. Every program we design, every room we curate, and every opportunity we unlock is intentional. It exists to move women from potential to power. If you believe in a future where women are resourced, supported, and positioned to thrive, we invite you to invest in that vision. Your donation directly fuels mentorship, entrepreneurship, and access for the next generation of women leaders.
