Milestones 2025 Recap
M2D shifted in the past year from a mission-driven community into a structured organization delivering mentorship programs, large scale events, and global advocacy laying the foundation to scale women led leadership and entrepreneurship at an international level.
🎯 Mission- Level Progress 2024-2025
Strengthened and expanded M2D’s intergenerational mentorship ecosystem
M2D’s core Generations in Motion mentorship program continued to recruit and match mentors (“Mothers” – experienced women) with mentees (“Daughters” women aged roughly 18–39), emphasizing leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Applications officially opened and were promoted widely, indicating scaling of this program.
The organization framed mentorship not just as guidance but as a catalyst for bridging generational and industry gaps from AI and sustainable sectors to inclusive healthcare and business ownership.
We have done over 10 workshops spanning the Art of becoming and the art of building. Matching has been personalized and we reached 15 matches this year.
Community & thought leadership visibility
M2D participated in high-profile global policy spaces such as CSW69 (Commission on the Status of Women), where founder Francine Mbvoumbo spoke on women’s empowerment and generational leadership.
Presence at international forums reinforces M2D’s positioning beyond charity: advocacy for equity, inclusion, and knowledge transfer at the intersection of gender, leadership, and economic opportunity.
Francine’s role and message about intergenerational mentoring were featured at International Women’s Day speaker platforms, highlighting mentorship’s impact on leadership and partnerships.
Programmatic Expansion
The PACE initiative (Promoting Arts, Community & Entrepreneurship) evolved into a flagship in-person event with a broad audience (~2,500 expected), curated workshops, performances, and speakers across entrepreneurship, arts, wellness, and finance.
Calls for speakers, partners, and sponsors for PACE 2025 marked a deliberate shift to hybrid community programming beyond newsletters and online mentorship toward live experiences.
📊 The Results

M2D also featured youth-centric opportunities such as involvement in student showcases and arts/design markets at PACE, indicating cross-generational engagement at community level.
