Front and Behind the Scenes with Francine - Edition 7

A NOTE OF GRATITUDE

"When I start counting my blessings, my life turns around." This simple yet profound truth from Willie Nelson echoes in my heart every time I sit down to write to you. What was perceived as little has become enough. What felt like confusion has unfolded into clarity. And the chaos? It’s slowly weaving itself into order.

This past month has been a beautiful testament to the power of gratitude—of turning to God and recognizing the blessings that shape my life. Because as much as the world may affirm me, nothing compares to knowing he sees me, knows me, and calls me worthy.

I’m overflowing with gratitude for the incredible souls who made April unforgettable—Cara-Lee Lewis, Cyrus Prescod, Ashley Baronnette and team, Rastarr Georges and so many others who supported and championed by their presence and kind words the success of our M2D launch. The list is long, but my heart sits in humble awe of every moment and individual who carved out time to be there with and for us.

Connection Points

PIECE OF ME

The spotlight found me early. Extravagant parties at home, a surprise appearance at my father’s event—by age 10, I was already being groomed to perform, often with little preparation. My mother, ever the visionary, didn’t give me a choice. Reserved as I was, she pushed me into the world—flute, piano, tennis, choir—all to awaken the creative force within me.

But here’s the thing: while I’m ready for the spotlight, I’ve never chased it. It came to me because life has a way of aligning us with what we’re prepared for. Some opportunities fizzle out naturally—they were never meant to be. Others? They take root and flourish effortlessly, like our recent M2D launch put together within such little time. Something I could only dream of if you had asked me, 5-10 years ago.I’ve always been a silent dreamer. Some of my biggest visions started as fleeting thoughts—"Wouldn’t it be cool if…?"—and for those who believe in manifestation, you know that’s often enough. Our thoughts and words are that powerful.

Yet, as much as I thrive in the spotlight, my deepest magic happens in the quiet—where intuition speaks loudest, where bold moves are born. It’s a delicate balance, one that allows me to show up fully, whether in the glow of attention or the solace of solitude.

I MEAN BUSINESS

Mothers to Daughters (M2D) Intergenerational Program: Generations in Motion

Anna Wintour recently shared, "This emphasis on being a celebrity and being so successful at an early age is very destructive. You will be happier, more successful, and have more longevity if you take your time."
I couldn’t agree more. As someone who once wrestled with impatience, I’ve learned that wisdom from those who’ve walked before us is priceless. Time is too precious to spend it just making mistakes—why not learn from those who’ve already navigated them?

That’s why Generations in Motion exists.

  • If you’re between 18-39 and seeking direction, this is your invitation.
  • If you’re a woman in future-forward fields such as tech/AI, agriculture, or any field, ready to pour into the next generation—I want to hear from you.
  • If you are supporting women — whether within or beyond this age bracket — and have access to resources that could enhance our mentorship program, I would love to collaborate with you.

Supporting 100,000 women-led businesses by 2035 is a collective ambition. If this resonates with you, take the pledge and let’s commit to legacy building through intergenerational mentoring.

The She Could Be Your Daughter, Your Sister, Your Future Leader campaign is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Every dollar you contribute helps propel our mission forward — in ways that are more powerful than you can imagine. We created this campaign not only to give you a chance to support the transformation we are crafting for women but also to offer you the benefit of a tax break.

Your support would mean the world to us.

MEDAL - Men Elevating Daughters as Leaders

While I have often highlighted the incredible women who have shaped my journey, I am equally grateful for the men who have supported me behind the scenes. Their encouragement has fueled my confidence, boldness, and ability to steer clear of impostor syndrome — reminding me that I am deserving.

If you would like to be part of this special initiative, please respond to this email or fill out the form below.

PACE TORONTO

In just two weeks, my partners and I will be hosting Promoting Arts, Community, and Entrepreneurship (PACE) at Stackt Market in Toronto. This gathering will bring together a rich tapestry of talent, industry professionals, and entertainers — all to support the young generation I am so passionate about advocating for.

I often think about how much I would have benefited from an event like this when I was younger, which is exactly why I said yes to being part of such an impactful initiative.

WISDOM INDULGENCE

What's Your Contribution Score?

Your impact is measured by those who rise because of you

Whether you are an advisor, mentor, partner, or otherwise, your words weigh more than you might imagine. There’s a reason why it’s often said to think twice before speaking.

As I grow older, I’ve become increasingly intentional about whom I share my thoughts with. In most cases, there are two types of people: welcoming vessels and rejecting vessels.

  • Welcoming vessels acknowledge your role in their growth. The more positive the outcome, the higher your contribution score with them.
  • Rejecting vessels, on the other hand, may yield similar outcomes — but they are often unwilling or unready to apply your advice. Engaging with them can sometimes lead to a feeling of vampire syndrome, where your contributions are unappreciated, much like the saying, "a prophet is not welcomed in their own home."

My advice? Lean toward supporting welcoming vessels. No matter the outcome, they appreciate your time, engage with gratitude, and recognize that success is rarely achieved alone. They won’t erase your impact or take sole credit; instead, they honor the collective journey.

Ultimately, it isn’t just about acknowledgment — it’s about building a genuine contribution score based on those who can truly attest to your impact.

Many people continue to contribute to my success, just as I contribute to the success of others. It's a continuous cycle of gratitude, accountability, and collective growth.

Earth Day 2025

As a Global Peace Ambassador, I had the honor of participating in activities led by Paul Sladkus, Founder of the Earth Day Concert in NYC, and that took place at Times Square.

M2D U.S Charity Launch

After five years of operating in Canada, we officially took the bold step of expanding beyond the region — and the celebration was nothing short of impactful. In the busy city of NYC, grabbing people’s attention is never something to take for granted — especially as newcomers to the scene — and it’s something I am deeply grateful for. HERE you’ll find the photobooth pictures generously sponsored by AR Photobooth and HERE, the official pictures captured by Shauntay Pitts from Filthayrich Productions.

Among our guests and behind the scenes contributors, I want to especially thank our speakers, moderators and sponsors, who made a real difference:

PRODUCTIVITY HACKS

  • 30-Minute Rule – Distractions Timer
I’m often surprised when people ask, “Do you even watch shows?” — usually from those who think I spend all my time working. The answer is: yes, I do. My brain stays active enough during the day that sometimes, I just want to mute it and let others do the talking. During those moments, I’m not necessarily looking to socialize or even practice a sport. Instead, I find comfort in simply unwinding. I often indulge in a TV show (The White Lotus steals it lately), a documentary, or a good read to escape the intensity of my days. My rule of thumb? No longer than 30 minutes in set work intervals. It’s a small discipline that allows me to recharge without losing focus.
  • Intentionality with Courage Cards
Thanks to a precious gift from my big sister and mentor, Anna Lolomari, I now start my weeks with greater intentionality — guided by a set of 352 Courage Cards.Last week’s card called for resilience, anticipating the hurdles I faced in the two-week sprint leading up to the M2D launch — much like the courage I summoned earlier this year to detach from things that no longer served me. As a result, Sundays have become times of deep reflection and excitement, even when the week ahead might carry failure as a guiding theme. It’s about preparing my heart and mind with courage, no matter what lies ahead.
